Why We Need a Savior – A Christmas Message

This short video stirs something deep inside each of us. It’s called Why We Need a Savior, and it’s part of the #LightTheWorld series. Even though I know the Savior paid for all my mistakes, the beginning of the video was powerful enough to make me feel the discouragement that would exist without Jesus Christ. But by the end, I felt grateful and filled with hope in my heart.
In just a couple of minutes, it reminded us of something so simple, yet so powerful: without Jesus Christ, there would be no joy, no forgiveness, and no second chances. Without the Savior, there would be no peace in the storm and no light in the darkness. Take a moment to reflect on that.
Remember the Savior
I don’t always take the time to stop and truly think about what the Savior means to me personally. Life gets busy. The holidays get noisy. But this video cuts through all of that. It brings us back to the core of what Christmas and life, really are all about. Our Savior Jesus Christ.
He is the reason I can move forward when I mess up. He is the reason I can find peace in uncertain times. And He is the reason I can feel love even when the world feels cold. Watching this video is like a quiet nudge from Heaven saying, “Remember Him. Trust Him. Follow Him.”

I’m grateful for a Savior who knows me, loves me, and walks with me. And I’m grateful for reminders like this one that help me refocus on what really matters.
