How D Todd Christofferson Can Hear the Holy Ghost

I’ve always struggled with waiting for answers.  When I pray or seek guidance as I listen to hear the Holy Ghost, I want the answer immediately in the moment I’m asking.  But over and over again, I’ve had to remind myself that the Lord answers in his own time, and often only when I’m prepared to truly prepared to truly receive what He wants to give me.

Accepting that timing is one of the hardest parts of faith.  It requires from me patience, trust and a willingness to let go of my need for control.  Yet I’ve noticed something: when His answers finally do come, they arrive at exactly the moment I need them most.  And looking back, I can see that His timing was just good, it was better than mine ever could have been.
