Cordon, the General Young Women’s President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, shares the heartbreaking experience of losing a beloved grandchild. Through this deep sorrow, she was able to find peace and strength through the comforting words of God.

As a parent, I fervently pray that I never have to face the loss of one of my own children.  I hope that I will be spiritually in tune and in the right place when the Lord needs me, so I might be able to receive the message that I need to hear for my own life to make me a more faithful disciple of Jesus Christ.
