Time for More General Conference! April 2023
It’s time for General Conference, The Church of Jesus Christ of a Latter-day Saints’ biannual conference where members of the Church listen to the prophet and apostles speak to the world about Jesus Christ and His gospel. This is a time that members of Christ’s restored church look forward to every six months. Imagine sitting down with a prophet such as Isaiah to hear what revelations and inspirations they have from the Lord for our day. That would be awesome! That is why members are excited about General Conference.
I wrote about General Conference before and you can read more about it here.
There are five two-hour sessions at the conference. On Saturday, April 1, 2023, there will be three meetings at 10:00, 2:00, and 6:00 MST. On Sunday there are another two meetings at 10;00 and 2:00 MST.
To read, listen to, or watch General Conference you can visit the Church’s website.

How Bonnie H. Cordon Can #HearHim
In this video Sister Bonnie H. Cordon describes the loss of a dear child and how she was able to find peace through the words of God. I fervently pray that I never have to go through the loss of one of my children, but I hope that I will be in the correct place where the Lord needs me so I might be able to receive the message that I need to hear for my own life to make me a more faithful disciple of Jesus Christ.

Update For My Website on Jesus Christ: I’m Busy!
You may have noticed that I haven’t been posting to the website as frequently as I once did, and I want to acknowledge that. I noticed it too… Sunday mornings, once my designated time to get up early and write content, have shifted. I didn’t want to leave you wondering or worrying about whether you would ever hear from me again and learning more about Jesus Christ.
In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, leadership roles are mostly filled volunteers from within each local congregation. In 2020, I was called to a position in my local congregation that requires a significant commitment of time and responsibility. As a result, my Sunday mornings are now filled with meetings and other duties. While I have every intention of adding to the website, I ask for your patient as I adjust and find a new rhythm in my life for sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with you.
Please also visit the official website for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for more.
Thank you so much for continuing to visit and support this space—I truly appreciate it!
If you haven’t yet begun reading about the Prophet Joseph Smith, I encourage you to start here. I’ve written several posts on the topic. These writings should hold you over until I’m able to post again.
